June 3, 201312 yr The 2.2T is in the Brat. How do you hook up the new alternator with the old wires? Anyone?
June 3, 201312 yr wish I could help.. The stocker the GM and the Maxima alt are only two wire.. I am going to assume you need one of those plugs going to ground the other two are the one to splice into the stock plug.. Someone will be able to accurately answer though.
June 4, 201312 yr Author I do have the stock plug for the 2.2T alt so if anyone knows how to do this?? Where's General Disorder? He would know! Anyone????
June 4, 201312 yr Black/white wire of the EA to the Yellow wire of the EJ plug. White/Red wire of the EA to the Black/white wire of the EJ plug. Big white EA wire to the charge terminal. You may want to run a new wire back to the Fusible link box, or at least replace the last 6-12 inches of wire with new and a new ring terminal.
