June 11, 201312 yr I'm starting to look for my next Subaru. I currently have a 02 GT sedan that I love, but I'd like to go back to a wagon? So my question is, what was the last year that Subaru either made a Legacy wagon or an Outback that didn't look like a SUV? I got my 02 3 years ago with 64k on it and I'm scouting for the newest wagon that I can find that still looks like a wagon.
June 12, 201312 yr +1 to cars101.com 2005-2009 was the last of the normal sized wagon style. 2009 was the last Outback Wagon. 2007 was the last year of the Legacy Wagon (according to cars101, I thought they only made it until '06). Though you could lower the Outback to Legacy ride height fairly easily. I'm going to need 'upgrade' to a nice '09 Wagon in the next few years... Edited June 12, 201312 yr by nickb21
