April 20, 200421 yr I'm looking for some sources for fair priced Subaru parts (1st gen Legacy). From another thread of mine it seems I need a knock sensor. My local (Northern Indiana) dealer wants $65. I heard you can get one for about $35. Any trusted sources that can be recommended. I can't get Liberty's website to work and my best price is www.1stsubaru.com Any others people trust? Markus
April 20, 200421 yr Hi, here are a few i had in my bookmarks… http://www.allsubaru.com http://www.1stsubaruparts.com http://www.libertysubaru.com http://www.oxygensensors.com http://www.autopartsworld.com Hope these help Ed
April 20, 200421 yr I specifically recommend 1stSubaruparts. I know them personally and get no kick backs from my endorsements. They will give you a better than fair price. They are knowledgable and above all a pleasure to deal with. If you talk to them on the phone don't hesitate to tell them Ken sent you. Be sure to state you want the internet pricing and you'll get the best price possible.
April 20, 200421 yr i second the 1stsubaruparts.com reference. always been a pleasure to deal with...
April 21, 200421 yr I have used 1stsubaruparts.com several times now. They have A+ customer service, excellent prices, and very reasonable shipping charges. If you can't find a part in their web page simply mention it in the comments section when you are checking out and Jason will surely find it for you.
April 21, 200421 yr Author Thanks for the input....it looks as though 1stsubaruparts.com is it! Markus
April 21, 200421 yr I also use 1stsubaruparts and I am in eastern NC. Needed a part in a hurry the other day and order from a dealer 45 miles away and paid nearily 40% more than 1stsubaruparts would nave charged.
April 21, 200421 yr www.subaruparts.com is another decent one. Cheap prices and no issues....as long as the part is in stock. If you get a yellow dot.....I'd try and go with another online place or dealer.
