Are these two the same? I know that turbos are different but are e81 ande82 interchangable? is there a difference between 2wd and 4wd talking front ones now.mainly concerned with manual trannys not autos but give me input anyways.As always this board has been a learning experience and I LOVE IT!

i believe the ea82 shafts are either a tad bigger in diameter or a tad longer than ea81 shafts.. its been awhile since i had 2 sittin side by side..

EA82's are longer. They have the same spline count but the shaft is longer. They really aren't interchangable.

how much longer?anyone know?is it the same for the rear?I'm wonderin??? wider tracking longer control arms??higher engine mount with lift???is it possible or am I pissin in the wind?
