I just got an ea81 wagon with a striped front hub and i only have an ea82. they look pretty similar.

They are a different height to the from Bearing face to Wheel mounting surface.

 

It will work, but the castle nut will either be on too far, or not far enough.....I can't recall which way....but the EA81 and EA82 hubs are not interchangable except for emergency type use.
