BBerry4430 Posted September 3, 2013 Share Posted September 3, 2013 Hey guys, I'm thinking of picking up a second project to play with, but this one would be well past what I've ever tinkered with before. Never really done any heavy duty engine work. Basic tune-up stuff, exhaust, suspension, brakes, even minor body work okay, but never a real build. A guy is selling this 86 GL and I'm thinking of making the purchase. I've owned a few Brats, a couple Outbacks and my current Forester. soobydoo Posted September 3, 2013 Share Posted September 3, 2013 Nice project and a good deal too.My very honest opinion:Option number 1, go the EJ22 route. Problem solved.
