Now...IF someone can locate me a source for the exhaust flanges for the head to header...maybe we can get something going...if you read what I am typing a certin creative way...oh and with these two clues, im sure someone will have a brite lite turn on over thier head and post what I am proposing here....ive got a welder comming, and I have Portaband here...and ive got parts to rig up an EA82T on its engine/suspension crossmember on a stand,...woops, 3 clues!

bumpie....

Oh, and since no one seemed to get the hint...when my welder gets here, I am seriously looking into making headers and downpipes, if I can get the flanges and such....

can you reuse flanges from old stock components? that seems to be the best source we'd have. maybe someone with a dead turbo car can send you a set of flanges, and after you make someone some parts, they owe you their old stock flanges.

I will actually cohse from one of many broken stock headers to start my project...ive got one right here. And I know where one is right off hand. The problem is...the flanges are too small of an ID for what I wanted to do...the ports are 2 inches, the flanges are 1 1/2 IIRC. I was going to do 2 inches, and do a smoth reduction right at the turbo inlet down to the turbo inlet size...
