There is a "ticking" noise that sounds like its coming from my alternator. At first it happened every once and a while but now it is doing it pretty much all the time and at a louder level. The ticking speeds up with the RPM's... does anybody know what it is/ how i can fix it?

If its coming from the alternator, my guess wopuld be that the bearings are going kaput.. I would consider getting another alternator and keeping it on hand for when this one dies.
