October 17, 201312 yr Can I use a 84 gl axle in my 85 brat? Long story short need cv axle only one in stock is an 84 gl axle. From what I understand ea81's are all the same? Should I buy the 84 gl or do I order the one for the 85 brat and wait?
October 17, 201312 yr Put the one in from the 84, chances are if its from a parts store they'll order the wrong part because the computers screw up the model change in 85.

October 17, 201312 yr Ea82 axles are a tad longer, don't think they're wider. Technically a longer axle will be wider when they are installed lol.
