I have a 90 Legacy wagon with a Auto well the tranny has issues, I just picked up a 96 LegWag  with a good auto tranny will it work in there? is the ratio the same? will the electronics work?  thanks guys 

 90,91=4.11 final drive.

 

92-94=3.9

 

95-99 should be 4.11 ( Ex. LSi, GT and Outback)

 

Plug and play.  Might have to swap the cable Speedo for the 90 to the new trans.  Rear mount plate may be slightly different too but swappable.
