Rockauto is listing just a u-joint, then it has a rear u-joint listed. I know these are used for different vehicles so im thinking that I don't need a rear specific joint. My rear is fine but going to replace both since i'll have it out anyways.

I'm starting to wonder about the imput shaft bearing. I see a bit of leakage and suspect it would give the same symptoms as a bad u joint? It is a swapped in 5 speed.

If my memory is correct when I replaced my U-joints the front and back were the same! On a 87 Brat!  Rear was shot but why go through the trouble to replace one when the other will be next!

I think front & rear are the same...it's that way on most, if not all driveshafts that I've encountered
