So I had iridium plugs in my ea82 and had a random ticking. I put in OEM plugs problem solved. Older engines don't always like new technology word of advice

Yeah, ran into that a lot. 4-EA81's, 3-EA82's, 2-ER27's. Not a one with the correct plugs in them when I got them.
