I am not sure where the wetness is coming in from.  Between the carpet and the rubber liner it is wet.

The sides panels with carpet are wet to the touch.  There are 2 sun roofs.  The "gutters" of the sun roofs were suppose to be cleaned out by the dealer when I last had service done.

Not sure if it really was done.

The back hatch does not open most of the time.  I am not sure if it is the mechanism that opens and closes the hatch door or the hatch lock.  I have been told two different things at 2 different Subaru service departments.  I lubricated the lock hatch with WD-40.  It did not solve the problem.  I can only open the hatch door using a key.  I used to be able to just squeeze the hatch handle and the hatch door would open.  Now, it is a struggle to open the hatch with a key and the hatch handle.

Unfortunately, the hatch door does not have a way to open it from the inside of the car(like a lever).

Any ideas; help; suggestions; would be greatly appreciated.

There is a transfer bar that has come loose. IIRC it's held on by a c clip.

See my post on FSM. Download yours and go to the body section.

Also, www.opposedforces.com/

click on Subaru parts catalog, then go to your vehicle, etc
