My buddy's brat . Has.been driving fine then all of a sudden, it.started choking out in hills and when secondaries open, gasping like out.of gas . Now we are on a incline and we cant move. It takes off and dies . Any ideas, we are getting.fuel, very recent tune up , filters are clean,, we are 100 miles.from home

Perhaps it is a cracked distributor cap, a corroded coil wire to the distributor, clogged PCV valve, or a fusible link wire that is fried, brittle and in a world of hurt.

Sounds like a carb issue or fuel pump. Maybe fuel filter. Where are you?
