2006 forester clutch ignition lock switch

Featured Replies

My GF's 2006 MT forester wouldn't start yesterday. It wouldn't turn over, starter wouldn't click, nothing. When I came over to take a look all of the interior lights lit up without issue. Kept trying, then it turned over without hesitation and fired up. Today she hasn't had any issue with it. I'm assuming that it's the clutch ignition lock switch and will get it on order tomorrow. I adjusted the lucking nuts so the clutch wouldn't have to travel completely to the floor to engage the switch until the new one arrives. While I was in the area I came across the green plugs in the picture. Does anyone no what they are for or why they may be disconnected? Also, any suggestions on the random not turning over? Thanks!
