2006 outback sport cannot clear cel code P0182

Featured Replies

outback sport gave P0182 code I was unable to reset it. took it to the dealer today, they had it all day and finally told me they were unable to reset the code and that they had never seen this before. They needed to wait until the morning to call tech support before they started ripping out the wiring harness?????

any ideas?

Thanks

Jon

They can't clear it because its an Immediate at fault recognition code, meaning its a code that sets the MIL immediately when the fault occurs. If you clear it and the light comes right back its because the fault is still present.

My guess, mice have been chewing the wires on top of your fuel tank.
