May 22, 201411 yr So I started on pulling apart my ea82 to replace the gaskets and seals for the oil pump and it got to dark out to continue. I have the pump off and wondering if I pull off the pully or the pump end?
May 22, 201411 yr You don't have to pull the pulley to pull the pump. The pump should wiggle out with the pulley on it. It took me forever to figure it out the first time since I thought the pulley had to come off first.

May 22, 201411 yr soft vise the impeller then remove pulley bolt and pulley. shaft then comes out. hth
