I have a friend who wants to put Alot of stereo upgrades in his 2004 forester. I know you can do the maxims upgrade for older subies but what can he do for his 2004 forester.

Someone here recently managed to fit a 130 amp H6 alternator in an older Legacy. Forester may have the correct plug already and be an easier swap.

Yea, I read something about that too. Maybe it was an alternator from a Tribeca. I bet if you do a car parts search on line for an H6 or a Tribeca alternator, you will find what you want.
