EA81T oil feed and drain back pics ?

Featured Replies

I am curious to see what an EA81T head looks like to compare to EA82T in regards to the oil supply for the turbo , and the return. EA82T has oil supply from the rear of the head, and the head cops the return. Thinking an EA81 rocker cover could be made up to take oil return, and , oil feed direct from the oil pump switch hole - run a lin up to the turbo and T off from that for the oil light switch...one day :)

Thanks naru, for the links contained within - parts and service manuals for a range of Subes for anyone else reading..

Think I worked out yesterday that these EA81s not being OHC, there is no oil pressure in the head to be able to tap into - as the rockers get there oil via lifter tubes ?Now not so sure, better go download some MB above

Oh, must wait for Win7 or vista to come by ....
