Hello,

I have a 2006 Subaru Legacy 2.5i, and tonight while driving, my turn signals suddenly stopped working -  the dash indicators don't even turn on. When I stopped the car, I was no longer able to shift it out of park.

 

Are these two problems related?

 

I was able to take it out of park by pressing the button in the hole by the shifter and use hand-signals on my way home. I also changed the turn signal fuse, but that did not solve the problem.

 

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

I fixed the problem by changing the fuse 14 in the engine box as suggested. Thankfully it wasn't a larger issue. Thanks for the help!

if it happens again, you may need to troubleshoot some trailer or other wiring.
