Help to determine the type of mechanical transmission

Recommended Posts

Can you get a picture of the transmission? If its the transmission in the brat set as your avatar its going to be a single range 4wd or dual range if its the original with a 3.9 gear ratio the same as your rear differential.

I am in search of buying a 5 speed manual for BRAT , I want gear ratio of 3.9 , now has a 4 speed manual, with gear ratio of 3.7. sale sellers provide the only non MT , photography refuse(((

you need a transmission out of the next generation of subaru.. EA82 body without turbo so that the gear ratio is correct.

and EA71 was not the gear ratio of 3.9? only 3.7?!! thank you.

All of the TW75F5 transmissions were 4wd single range 5 speeds.

Some were from turbos and have different axle spline counts and possibly different final drive ratios.

I am unable to match the complete number.

and what number should be for the dual range 5 speed MT

Part time 4wd dual range 5 speeds seem to all be TW75F9xxxx

Turbo Part time 4wd dual range 5 speeds seem to all be TW75FCxxxx

Full time 4wd  dual range 5 speeds seem to all be TY75FCxxxx
