Is this a 2ND Gen BRAT rear slider?

It measures about 14" wide and about 53" long. I held it up by the back of my 1st Gen and it's not quite right. It was in the back of the parts car, i thought it kind of looked like one from an early S-10 pickup.

Yeah, the angle of sides is off. Thanks for sharing a pic i really appreciate that.

The factory slider on second gens is 2 overlaping glass panels......and each on slides form the edge.....not the middle..

those are definately not 2nd Gen Brat.

The length is also probably a dead giveaway at 53" wide, guess i'll start looking at the rear sliders on some small pickups and see if it 's a match. I'd rather sell it then throw it away.

The pic i showed is the rear slider out 2nd gen 83 dl. I got the whole brat for free. All i had to do was to haul it way since it was sitting on a new house owners property and was about to go in the dumpster because of a remodel. The brat was rusty as they came rockers gone, bed gone, and tail gate hinges rusted off(i've seen worse though)

I thought there were a few different styles of rear sliders through out the years. Its been a topic here before. Been a while.

All 5 of the BRATs I've owned have had the "2 pane slide to center" ones. '82, '84, '85, and 2 '86's.

The one TSB posted pics of might be an after market or dealer installed one.
