TPMS ?

Featured Replies

Hello everyone,

Our three month old Crosstrek is showing a TPMS light but all of the pressures are exactly where they should be according to the specs on the car. I can't find any damage to the tires/wheels and everything seems to be fine. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Did you change the wheels or tires on it?

Everything is bone stock. It does have about 3000miles on it so it's ready for a tire rotation. (No visible wear of the tires yet)

I'm hoping we didn't buy a Boo with electrical issues !!!

Just drop into the dealer and have them reset your sensors.

  • 1 month later...

If the car has a spare tire that could also have a pressure sensor in it. Check the spare and make sure it has the right pressure.

Those sensors are the bane of everyone's existence, regardless of make or model.  As has been mentioned, something needs to likely be reset.  If not, a sensor may be going bad, causing the light.  Either way, it'll be covered under warranty.

And mine also has the light lit.  I despise these stupid sensors.  I'm a few hundred miles from my first service, so mine will get reset or whatever it is they need to do at service time.  *grumps*
