Headlamp assembly upgrade

We are looking to upgrade a headlamp assembly from a 2003 Subaru legacy L to a Subaru gt assembly when replacing the assembly the connectors don't seem to match up. Is there a special wire harness that is needed? Thanks

If necessary just splice the correct plug end.

Cut the wires and crimp a new connector on. The crimp and shrink connectors work best for wiring under the hood that is exposed to the elements.
