i have an 88 dl wagon and i am having fun. up by the strut towers on both sides there are plug ins that go to nothing are they for accesories or what?

There are a few for diagnostics near the fuel filter. Not sure about the otherside. There are relays on the passenger side on my 87.

Driver side is diagnostic connectors

 

Passenger side is for A/C optional.
