My 92 Loyale is having a hard time starting. It takes about 5 to ten minutes to start. It sputters for awhile them dies. If I give it too much gas it dies. I can bring it too a higher idle by slowly tapping the gas once I've tried to start it for awhile but it won't do the cold start high idle. Please help

Start by Checking for Fuel Pump Failure, and for Vacuum Leaks.

To check the pressure of the fuel pump you have to press, by a bence,the returning hose of the fuel.

If then it is Ok,it is a fuel pump failure.

Otherwise you have to check the front lambda(oxygen)sensor.
