If i put an EA82 5spd D/R in my hatch, what type of Driveshaft do I use? Do i still have to lengthen it or would a factory EA81 Shaft fit?

This is talked about in the repair manual (USRM) but I'm unsure about it. It sounds like you have two options:1. lengthen the original, or2. put in one from the donor car and weld in a bracket to support it and the bearing with it. I'd love to be corrected so I know for sure as this is something I'm planning on doing in the fall.
