i have an 88 dl wagon and to the right of the steering colum is a big  green plug with a jumper in it,what is it i would get you a pic but i have no camera maybe on the wifes cell phone if i could figure out how to download to my computor.

still nothing, i will keep plugging away until i get an answer.

Try finding a pic on google or something, can't really help without it there's like 12 plugs under the dash haha

i will and i will figure out the wires going to it and backtrack it using a wiring diagram.

Green plug left of colum with 4 wires? That's likely the fuel pump relay and someone has added a jumper to bypass it.

i figured out what it was,while i was at pull and save the other day i saw the plug and what was plugged into it it was the intermittant wiper relay control ahah
