I have no flashers.checked connection in dash

Have you checked the fuses?

Flasher/blinkers go through the emergency flasher switch on the center of the dash.  Did someone change the radio?  If so they may have not plugged the connector back in.

Yes.checked that.

I am not sure on the Subaru but is there two separate signal stats for the turn signals and the flashers?  

 

I know that on a lot of vehicles that there are, and if there is just one you might change it out just in case.
