I need some help to identificate the details of the VIN of some 1985(?) Wagon

Ive tried looking around and could not find much for decoders, just some dead links. Try searching this forum alof of stuff comes up. I think Haynes and Chilton manuals can give you some info on you're car's vin. What about youre vin/car exactly are you wanting to know? maybe someone on here can give you a hand.

It is not for my car.

It is some 2nd generation Wagon for breaking far away from me.

I would like to know if it is FWD or 4WD as well as if it is equipped with 5speed gearbox.

I know that the engine is EA71.

he doesn't want to know the history of the car, he just wants to know what the numbers mean as in a vin 4 or 5, JF1 meaning J=Japan assembled.. sadly i don't know much about that, but i understand what information he needs.
