Had a tree limb fall on our hood Cracked the hood a bit, but also cracked / split the top of the air filter housing (where the filter is now exposed). I really only need the top half of that housing, found one online for a 1998 Legacy (but doesn't specify if it's from a wagon) but does say 2.2. 

Would this fit?

 

Does anyone have a clue on that? Are they interchangeable?

If it's for an EJ22, it will fit as long as it's not the Phase II ('99-03).

Are they the same for outback's and legacy's?

They are the same IF the engine is a '90-98 EJ22.
