Hi! I just got my first Subaru a week ago, and discovered this forum today - a 2006 Outback 2.5 Limited is mine now, and lucky for me has documentation on all the work done! Most importantly, it's HAD all the major work done, which is awesome. It's also a 5-speed (hooray!).

Welcome aboard!  Congratulations, that's a good looking ride.

My sister has an '05 but with the H-6 Engine. Sweet ride my friend!

Hi all,  I've owned an 02 Forester for 9 years now. It had 220.000 Kilometres on the clock when I bought it, it's got 357.000 on it now and drives like a much younger car. In the 9 years I've had to replace, left front drive shaft and the starter motor and tyres of course. I've been so impressed with this car I went out and bought an 05 version for my wife. So far so good.
