1997 legacy outbackwagon awd to fwd manual trans

Featured Replies

does anyone know of any way to make my legacy outback from all wheel drive to front wheel drive. i have seen the fuse and all for the automatic only trans. i have a manual 5 speed transmission. help me please ive tried removing the rear cvs but all that did was loose all the power. i need front wheel drive for a flat track race so if anyone can help me that would be great.

ive got like 5 days till the event and could reallyuse the help

Weld the center diff, or just weld the pinion shaft to the counter shaft. Then plug the hole where the rear driveshaft goes in.

Is there a way to do this with out having to weld it. I don't have the time to pull the center diff and have it welded could I weld the rear drive shaft in place and do almost the same thing
