I've heard that I can put Forester struts on my '98 Impreza outback sport, what year Forester struts can be used? Help/advise is greatly appreciated, R/Chris

I'd go 03+ forester struts, spring and top hats. You can typically find a set on CL for cheap from someone who just slammed there's.

98-08 Forester struts will fit. The rear top hat needs to be swapped from your struts, or drill new holes. Fronts bolt right in. 03-08 will have a higher rear spring perch so fit larger tires. You'll want the trailing arm bracket from an outback or block yours down to recenter your rear tires in the wheel well.
