September 9, 201510 yr Hi everyone, a new member here with a brand spanking new 2015 Outback. Glad that something like this exists since we can't ger a great deal of satisfaction from the dealer on an issue with our vehicle. Car has 2500 miles on it,purchased in April of 15. The issue is the the car, when stopped has this sudden surge that seems like someone rear-ended you! Does not occur at speed only when stopped. It occurs randomly and there is no given situation that triggers the problem. have had it back to the dealer twice without any resolution. They said the computer module was reprogramed but it still occurs. They had it for 10 days and still have no answers. Since this is my wifes every day driver, she is concerned about the saftey as myself. has anyone on this forum experienced anything similar and what was the possible cause? Very frustrated because the car is wonderful except for this issue. Thanks, Mike
September 13, 201510 yr Author The car lunges but no movement. The brake is applied so the car does not actually advance. It feels like you have been rear ended. Seems like it only occurs when the a/c is on.
September 14, 201510 yr Call the Area Rep hes in your Owners Manual. This sounds like its something thats easily solvable with the right tech.
