wagonist Posted December 8, 2015 Share Posted December 8, 2015 The way the linkages work on the back of each gearbox are the same though, so you can get the 4 speed stuff to work on the 5 speed, you just need to adapt the ends. I've never had the 4 spd though, so I don't know if the 4 spd linkages will physically fit onto the 5 spd trannie. You'll need to do a test fit.
