Fuel injectors

Featured Replies

92 Subaru legacy 2.2 getting fuel into oil how to tell if injector is stuck opened of if it's the o-ring  which look good   thanks for any help

Another possibility might be the fuel pressure regulator but I don't think I've seen any posts of that as a failure mode on soobs at least not for leaking fuel into the oil.

Another possibility is a bad spray of the injector. Add a can of fuel injector cleaner to your gasoline. Get the good stuff that cost more then $8/can like Techron. The cheapie stuff doesn't help much.

How does the engine run? Does it idle rough? If the engine is misfiring you'll get fuel in the oil quick. How old are the spark plugs and wires?
