warmblood58
I have a '94 Legacy EJ22 and need to disconnect ECU - anything I need to know about removing connectors other than being careful? Are there clips? My connectors are yellow, do they simply pull straight out or are there clips to compress, etc.? Thank you! 987687
There's a little tab/button in the middle of each connection you push in, then you can remove the connector.

Fairtax4me
Not sure on the 94, but yellow connectors are usually for airbag components. Lots of different plugs and connectors out there. There is almost always a lock tab of some type that must be pressed before the connector will come apart. The 95 ECU has a small lock tab that holds a lever. Flip the lever open and the connector pulls away.
