I got it adjusted for the upper stops just fine, but when it opens all the way in auto, the motor drive gear jumps the teeth.  I forget what stops the motor drive going open.

I thought there was a chunk of some sort on the regulator that keeps it from rolling open too far.

Could be wrong, I haven't messed with a Subaru window in a while.

Yep. There is a stop at the bottom of the travel.  The one on mine is plastic.

I replace the window regulator today.  Works great.  I could see the motor jumping the regulator teeth on the old one.
