i finally got the door open,it wasn't pretty but nothing is broken, what a pain in the rear. the problem is the latch assembly is toast, the stealer want almost 150.00 bucks for a new one, where can i find a used one? it looks like someone else tried to fix it and jammed the cheap plastic gears or what ever is inside. i am going to call larry h. miller where i bought the car to see if they can at least get the part for me it is still under warrenty or what they call a warrenty.

soopsoop,

A ten year old car will have many of its mates sitting in wrecking yards. Try there or on eBay for a replacement. Good luck!

go to car-part.com, which is a national network of auto wrecking yards. The latch assembly should be easily located. Prices are listed on the website, and something that small will be cheap to mail, or FedX to you.
