California emissions timing belt?

What's the difference in the timing belts on California and non California emissions? According to the specs between the two they're the same. Unless the timing marks are different on them. Anybody ran into this problem before?

What year and model?

 

On the earlier EJs, the CA belt had a 105k mile change interval, vs 60k for the non.
