June 3, 200421 yr Does the inside metal panel come off at all? or is getting to the window mechinisms in there impossible? No, it doesn't come off, but the mechanisms are easy to get to... you will have to move the window up and down to be able to get to where it attaches to the glass....
June 3, 200421 yr Author does the moter mechinism come out without removing the whole window system? or does the window come with? Also how does the glass attach? Thanks for the help.
June 3, 200421 yr the motor mechanism is attached to the window with 2 bars. if the window is almost all the way down, you can see the 2 small 10mm head bolts that hold it. one at each end of the rail at the bottom of the window. after those are removed, and the window stop plates are removed rom the upper portion of the door, the window can be pulled out all the way, or it can just be raised enough to get the motor/arms assembly out. there are just a few bolts that hold it into the door. The FSM's have the best window directions/digrams I think.....
