96 ej22 cam seals O rings

Featured Replies

I'm wondering if anyone knows the name or part number of that o ring on the back of the passenger head? Mine is leaking oil and I'd like to replace it at the same time I do cam seals. Also, is it the same I ring as the one behind the oil pump?

Part numbers galore on opposedforces.com

The oil pump o-ring is different, much smaller than the cam plug.

Rear cam plug on passenger side and front cam support o-ring on the drivers side are the same.

No, it is not the same as the oil pump O-ring.  But the camshaft O-ring at the rear of the passenger side head is identical to the one at the front of the driver's side head (in the block immediately behind the cam pulley.)
