Key Fob swap with Ford Chrysler etc

Featured Replies

I have a 96 Legacy Outback that I am wanting to get a key fob for. The key fob I need seems to be a goh-m24. I'm having a hard time finding one for a Subaru but I noticed that same model number is what Mitsubishi, Ford, Chrysler and a couple others use. Has anyone ever programmed one of those for a Subaru?

HI,

Hard time? Where are you looking?...see Ebay.

Looks like many different mfg. used this model, but you'll need to look into which ones also work on Subies.

Also, have you confirmed you have the Keyless module under the dash? They weren't standard in '96, AFAIK....'97+, I believe.

Yep I have the module. I was trying to find them locally. I can get the other manufacture fobs pretty easy for $20 locally. Last time I checked ebay they were 70 and thats a bit much for me to spend.
