I troubleshooted the engine light in my 87 ea82. The ECU codes I got were 24 (air control) and 34 (AVE Solenoid valve stuck on or off). Ok, I didn't think about where to go from there... Can I get any advice on how to fix these problems?

Code 34 is EGR in my FSM.

Check the solenoid to verify that it is open.  If so, my permanent fix for this is here:
