Start with replacing the speedometer.

 

Since your odometer still works that pretty much all you can do.

    Yep replace/repair speedometer or instrument cluster. Odometer moving suggests trans driven gear and cable are good.

    If all else fails..I mounted  a GPS deal ,a TomTom trip finder thing.It has a working speedometer in it..Funky but when a cops behind you and you have no idea how fast your going,its nice to have.my brat had something broken inside the tranny so instead of tearing that down the TomTom was a nice fix.Good luck
