About to get a repair manual for my 99 forester but I am not sure what model it is. Any idea where I ould find that info?

Hmm.. I wonder if Subaru gave them rights to 'base' their manual on FSM for only $30. My guess is probably NOT..

How do you think they write the Haynes/Chiltons manuals that run $15-20? They have the OE manual open and orate notes because the original's copyrighted. Same for Alldata and others. "they" pay a lot more and diffuse the price through numbers. That being said, there are better sources, legit and otherwise than giving your credit card info to a site called repairmanuals.co That just sounds kinda sketchy
