November 1, 20169 yr Tom, Im not sure if the auto/manual, 49st/Cal grounding pin signifier applies to the silver Loyale ECM. If it does Ide like to know Ive avoided these ECMs for years. They had some wiring differences and the additional "in gear" sensor. Or so Ive read. Edited November 1, 20169 yr by ihscout54
November 2, 20169 yr Author Ok so this plug, in the picture top is bracket side bottom right is harness side and left in my palm is a diode with a plug leading off, this diode comes from the harness side of the plug the other wire from this plug is only yellow, is this the tach signalwire or does the tach just go on one of the post

November 2, 20169 yr Author I have spark! It is beautiful, but its backfiring up the intake, im pretty sure my wires are right but am checking against the book, either wrong plug wires or 180 out right? It was beautiful to hear it trying to start, poor beautiful old girl

November 4, 20169 yr Author Its running, gotta time it a lil better, but its running, gonna loom it all up and take it for a ride Saturday, so happy, question on the clutch switch, i grabbed a couple whole sourcing parts for this swap and not sure if there is a difference between the clutch and brake pedal switches and if it matters which post ont its plug the neutral switch wire goes to, leaving the other a ground
