i want to install a set of small fog lights under the rear bumper for extra reverse lights so it really lights up behind the car while reversing. where is the easiest location to get access to the wiring so i can tap into the reverse light wire and extend it down to the new lights?

I would think the squeeze clamps at the bulb holder would be the best place to tap in. I would run a fused hot wire, and a relay to run fogs tho. They're liable to pop the reverse light fuse othherwise.

i was hoping to find a spot after the door so i wont have to get throgh the door rubber. i was also hoping the wires dont run throgh the ceiling would anyone know if the wires run throgh the ceiling or if they drop down and run along the floor? i have no issues tieing a fused relay in somewhere.

Use LED lights and you don't need a relay.
