Please help me out here- twice I have caught a brief glimps at an absolutely huge tan/gold 80-84 wagon that was passing through Lyons, Colorado heading up the south st. vrain canyon on state rt. 7.

The first time was maybe 3 years ago, it pulled over in front of my house to check out my subies and was gone by the time i could get outside. Then today it drove by my house on rt 7.

all I know is it's huge, looks like maybe its on 33s? and I can hear it is EJ'd. If this is somebody on the board or if anyone knows who, PLEASE get in touch, I really want to check this thing out. and I am sure whoever owns it would like to check out my hatch too.

Hey there. Is it the tan 2 door wagon? This is the same car I am thinking of I admire it all the time. When you're going through Lyons when the Road splits to take right to Estes Park and a left to go to Allenspark go left. Drive up the road about 300 to 400 feet and on your right side of the road the car is parked there. I believe he has another crazy little Subaru there as well. If you drive by and see it right me a message back and let me know. The thing is insanely beast!

@nighthawk2006 the directions you give are to my house, but I have no tan car. I don't think this car is from Lyons, it's to small a town for me not to know if it was. It must be somebody nearby enough though to be coming by here from time to time.

wow I'm embarrassed! haha! Man i absolutely love what you did with your sub. I drive by there all the time and always make sure to slow down to check it out. Haven't had the courage to pull over and gander at it. I would love to know what did to that beast in all.

It's still around, I see it pretty often in Longmont... I think the same guy owns a lifted XT that's of similar... flavor.
